Why are we different?
We offer the perfect supplement to a child's school orchestra, as well as give interactive lessons for students whose schools do not provide an orchestra program. Our Strings Teacher, Sarah, has a vast experience teaching all ages and skill levels, and has been the Orchestra Director for the Dover and Stow-Munroe Falls School Districts, You can read Sarah's bio here.
Does my child need private lessons?
The fact of the matter is that students involved in a school program excel even farther when able to also receive one-on-one instruction. This can help with overall musicianship by improving things like tone, mastery of difficult passages, supplemental repertoire, etc..
Many schools with top performing bands and orchestras actually require students to take private lessons as well, since it is not possible to give each student the individual attention required to help hone their craft from a just one instructor.
Of course, some students may take interest in an instrument like the violin, but their school district may not offer a program to learn it, so having a private teacher is vital to persuing their ambitions.
